Thank you for visiting Edmonton's premier doula service! Established in 1999, Gentle Touch has served more than 1000 families as a certified DONA birth doula in Edmonton and the surrounding area. Certified doulas are the newest members of the Maternity Care Team. Together, along with empowered and informed birthing parents, we are achieving positive and memorable birth experiences. Endorsed by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, as well as the World Health Organization, we are striving to protect the memory and the spirit of the birthing process, while minimizing obstetrical interventions. Our philosophy is to ensure that birth is one of the most memorable experiences of your life. We are achieving positive and memorable birth experiences, providing informational, emotional, and physical support to mothers and their birthing partners.

Gentle Touch was founded by Suzanne Moquin, BA, B. Ed., CD (DONA International), Birth Doula Trainer (DONA International), and Childbirth Educator. In addition to offering comprehensive doula services, Suzanne also trains doulas here in Edmonton.
